簡介

儘管推薦進行結腸直腸癌篩檢的做法已經很普遍，但在美國，篩檢率仍然較低。本研究的目的是透過研究兩個類型的小組，即1）曾經進行了篩檢的人士和2）按時進行篩檢的人士，來描述使用結腸直腸癌篩檢的比率和預測指標，並評估發展趨勢和預測指標是否隨時間變化。

方法


我們分析了2000年和2003年「全國健康訪問調查」（National Health Interview Survey）中，50歲及以上沒有結腸直腸癌病史的成年人使用大便隱血測試、乙狀結腸鏡和結腸鏡的資料（2000年N = 11,574，2003年N = 11,779）。

結果

2000年研究群體中曾經進行了結腸直腸癌篩檢人的比例（53%），在2003年的研究群體有所提高（55%），而2000年研究群體中按時進行結腸直腸癌篩檢人的比例（38%）在2003年也同樣有所增加（53%）。在曾經進行了篩檢的人中，76%於2003年按時進行了篩檢，而2000年只有68%。結腸鏡的使用有所增加，但大便隱血測試和乙狀結腸鏡的使用則有下降。收入較高、教育程度較高、有保險、有慣常照護來源而且前一年曾看過牙醫的人與不具有這些預測指標的人相比，更有可能按時進行篩檢。自2000年以來，這些結腸直腸癌篩檢使用的預測指標一直保持穩定。

結論
