Overview

The Committee consists of 20 members, including the Chair, and also includes:

  • Three nonvoting ex officio members representing the CDC, CMS, and FDA.
  • Industry liaison, a nonvoting representative from AdvaMed.
  • Designated Federal Officer.

The Designated Federal Officer (DFO) or their designee and the Executive Secretary are present at all meetings. They ensure that meetings are within applicable statutory, regulatory and Department of Health and Human Services General Administration manual directives.
