CDC, in conjunction with numerous partners, is hosting the 2004 National Sexual Violence Prevention Conference,
May 26--28, 2004, at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Suites in Los Angeles, California. The theme of this third
national
conference is "Building Leadership and Commitment to End Sexual Violence." The purpose of the conference is to
strengthen communication and working relationships among national, state, and local representatives in fields working to end
sexual violence. The deadline for advance registration is May 14. Registration information is available from CDC at
