Publication Schedule in Response to Terrorism and Other Public Health Emergencies
To avoid unnecessary delays in the release of important public health information,
MMWR will publish reports related to terrorism and other public health emergencies more frequently than the current weekly production schedule. MMWR will publish such reports electronically as often as necessary to provide the latest and most accurate information regarding
public health investigations, surveillance, prevention and treatment guidelines, and other clinical information. Reports
published electronically or updates of those reports will be included in the weekly printed issue of
MMWR. As conditions warrant, special print issues might also be published. Reports published electronically will be available from CDC at

MMWR electronic Listserv, the MMWR Distribution Partnership
