The Fourth Annual Conference on Vaccine Research: Basic Science---Product
Development---Clinical and Field Studies will be held April 23--25, 2001, in Arlington,
Virginia. The conference is sponsored by the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases (NFID)
in collaboration with CDC, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases,
the International Society for Vaccines, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Center
for Biologics Evaluation and Research, the Albert B. Sabin Vaccine Institute, and the
World Health Organization. The meeting will present current scientific data and will
explore issues among the disciplines involved in the research and development of vaccines
and associated technologies for the control of human and veterinary diseases through
vaccination.
The deadline for submitting abstracts for oral and poster presentations is February
2, 2001. Program announcements and forms for abstract submission, registration,
