In the article "Public Opinion About Public Health -- United States,
1999," there
were errors in the percentages given in both tables. On page 259 in Table 1, in the
"Sinus problems/allergies" category, the percentages for "Not too important," "Not at all,"
and "Don't know" should have been 4%, 3%, and 4%, respectively. On page 260 in Table 2,
in the "Air pollution" category, the percentages for "Not much," "Not at all," and
"Don't know" should have been 5%, 2%, and 5%, respectively.
