This week
emphasizes the importance of appropriately vaccinating adults
against
diphtheria, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, influenza, measles, mumps,
pneumococcal disease, rubella, tetanus, and varicella. National
Adult
Immunization Awareness Week coincides with the beginning of the
influenza
vaccination season and emphasizes the need for intensified
implementation
of vaccination programs for adults.
