Two errors appeared in the article, "Methemoglobinemia in an
Infant -- Wisconsin, 1992." On page 218, the last sentence should
read:
"Nitrate reacts with the oxygen-carrying protein, hemoglobin,
oxidizing it to methemoglobin (Figure 1)." In Figure 1, the bottom
arrow and the compounds NAD+ and NADH are reversed; the correct
figure is printed below.
