A new report presenting national estimates pertaining to
diabetes-related office visits has been released by CDC's National
Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). The report, based on data
collected by the National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey conducted
annually by NCHS, presents data on the patient, physician, and
visit characteristics for a sample of office visits resulting in a
diagnosis of diabetes mellitus.
