Report on Health-Care Visits by Adolescents
CDC's National Center for Health Statistics' (NCHS) National
Ambulatory Medical Care Survey has released a report that
examines statistics from 1985 on health care provided to
adolescents (patients 11-20 years of age) by office-based
physicians. Data are available by physician specialty, patient's
reason for visit, diagnostic services, physician's diagnosis, and
medication and nonmedication therapy.
