Incidence and prevalence were estimated by industry sector and time period. The adjusted risk of incident hearing loss within each time period and industry sector as compared with a reference time period was also estimated. Results: The adjusted risk for incident hearing loss decreased over time when all industry sectors were combined. However, the risk remained high for workers in Healthcare and Social Assistance, and the prevalence was consistently high for Mining and Construction workers. Conclusions: While progress has been made in reducing the risk of incident hearing loss within most industry sectors, additional efforts are needed within Mining, Construction and Healthcare and Social Assistance.Read moreLast Updated November 20, 2024Download this Resourcesd-1003-2019-0.zipDownloadAbout this DatasetViews602Downloads152Data Provided by(none)Dataset Ownerkye1Common CoreContact Name Division of Field Studies and Engineering Health Informatics BranchContact Email OHLSurveillance@cdc.govBureau Code 009:20Program Code 009:034TopicsCategory National Institute for Occupational Safety and HealthTags This dataset does not have any tagsOpen this dataset in Carto?Your browser will be redirected to Carto, would you like to proceed?Note that Carto has a file size limit of 150MB or 500,000 rows.Learn about more external integrations athttps://support.socrata.com/hc/en-us/articles/115010730868CloseOpenOpen this dataset in Plot.ly?Your browser will be redirected to Plot.ly, would you like to proceed?Note that Plot.ly has a file size limit of 5MB.Learn about more external integrations athttps://support.socrata.com/hc/en-us/articles/115010730868CloseOpenSend a Message to the Owner of this DatasetSend a short message to the dataset owner to ask a question, make a comment, or point out something about the data.SubjectMessageYour Email (Your email address will be shared with the dataset owner so they can get back to you)CancelSendManage Featured ContentFeatured ContentWhat would you like people to see when they first view this dataset?
